Someone should really write a thesis on a hug. I mean it can make or break someone's day when its from the right person. Hugs are the best way to show a friend that you are there for them no matter what. Even for people like me who don't enjoy constant hugging sometimes you just need the feeling of human warmth on your skin to make you realise you are not alone in this big bad world.

Hugs can be filled with happiness or can be completely grief stricken it can be to cheer someone up or maybe to just share a moment of victory and it is the perfect way of semi-formal body language and fits like a glove into most cultures. Though this is not a frequent or an accepted phenomenon in our country or society especially a girl hugging a guy or vice versa they should dump these inhibitions that if there is a display of PDA those people are dating or in a relationship sometimes in life you just need to know that theres someone backing you up so that if you fall or crumble they are there to pick you up or fix you.
